Robert “Robbie” Dean Lanier-Robison, 64 of Big Canoe, Jasper, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at his home surrounded by his wife, children and family. Robert was born in Augusta, Georgia to Robert “Bobby" Lanier and MaryAnn Oakley.

After proudly serving in the United StatesAir Force, Robbie relocated to Hall County, Georgia. A strong believer in community, Robbiecheerfully gave back by serving with his churches, volunteering for many charities events and on various Boards, including Civil Service, PTO, Hall County Humane Society and others.

Developments throughout Hall County reflect Robbie’s love for commitment to community, as both his partnership and 30 year friendship with Steve McKibbon, all forever remain a legacy in our area. McKibbon-Robison helped to create a better version of Hall County.

In recent years, Robbie was an avid outdoorsman, often including family and friends on his traveling adventures locally and across the U.S., with his wife and family. Robbie was dedicated husband, father and friend to all who met and knew him. He always had a smile, brought happiness when he entered a room, and left an impact that will never be forgotten.

Mourning the loss of Robbie are his father and step mother, Bobby and Dorothy Lanier, his wife, Shelia Robison, his children Rob Robison Jr., Jacob Robison, Landon Seabolt and his daughter, Emily Swanson, and son In law, CWO Dan Swanson of the United States Army, as well as his grandson.Included are his siblings and their families... Marvin Robison, Meg Williamson, Tammy Lanier-Wood, Deana Lanier-Nolan. (Deceased is Sherry Lanier)

There will be two separate Celebration of Life Memorialsheld. An intimate, casual memorial will be held June 12, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. in Big Canoe, Jasper, Georgia.The second service will be held June 13, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at LL Farms in Clermont, Georgia. Flowers may be sent in care of the funeral home.
