Steps:

• Combine oil, sugar, vinegar and salt.
• Bring to a rapid boil.
• Slowly pour hot mixture over cabbage, peppers, onions and carrots.
• DO NOT STIR.
• Cover and let stand one hour, then refrigerate 24 hours.
• Stir and serve.
