  Spondylolisthesis is a spinal condition that affects the lower vertebrae (spinal bones). This disease causes one of the lower vertebrae to slip forward onto the bone directly beneath it. It's a painful condition but treatable in most cases.The symptoms of spondylolisthesis vary. People with mild cases may not have any symptoms. The ligaments and muscles can be affected.  The menstrual cycle has been reported to alter pain perception. It has been reported that estrogens may influence somatic sensory processes and can lead to increased pain.  *What advice do you have for women who may be experiencing chronic pain but are hesitant to seek treatment? - Don't be afraid to seek treatment.
