vaxvms Premium Member 2022-Mar-10 8:39 am Amazon delivery by time now 10pmI just checked on an Amazon order. Delivery is lasted as "Arriving today by 10 PM" This is the first time I've seen 10pm. It's been 8pm for a while. Before that it had been delivery by 6pm. Will the Arriving time be extended to 11:59:59 at some point to ensure Next Day Delivery really is next day? |

Eventually something is gonna break and they will throttle back. quote: ---side story: remember when Domino's promised 20 or 30 minute delivery and the drivers were breaking traffic laws just to get it there on time? --- IMHO it's already broken because they do not always deliver on the promises they make for same day, 1 day or even 2 day delivery. And if you call them out on it, they simply say: "oh well, we tried and we sorry". That's all fine and well until people start making purchase decision and deciding to buy from Amazon because of the delivery schedule - vs. going somewhere else. Then it becomes fraud or false advertising at least. Did you ever notice that when you are checking out, they say exactly what day it will arrive but once the order is placed, it says estimated delivery date"? One of these days a smart attorney will get wise to this and bring forth a class action law suit. |

I've noticed that too, and I am in Ontario, Canada. Usually orders arrive by 9, but I got one at 12:30 am the one time. Glad. was up for that. |
